More 'sustainable' bags on the street

A quick observation from walking down to the bank at lunchtime...in the space of a few hundred metres, we passed several people carrying cotton or jute Fairtrade and organic bags from some of the major UK retailers. A sign that sustainable textiles really are entering mainstream concsiousness? I hope so! Kent, where I live, was one of the last places in the UK not to have independent retail outlets for organic cotton, but I see from PAN UKs website that even this is no longer the case.
So, I hope all the farm projects out there are seeing this translate into increased demand!
Have a good weekend
Simon
