Actually in the sahelian city of Ouagadougou, the city of FESPACO for cinema lovers, The international handicraft exhibition is ongoing. Textiles from Organic and fair trade cotton are part of the events. Handicraft workers from Benin, Burkina, Mali and Senegal are showing their capacity to move to organic cotton processing in West Africa to a higher edge. CORADE, Helvetas, Organic Exchange, UNPCB and other stakeholders supported and organized this handicraft industry to fashion organic textiles in order to create added value. Textiles from organic cotton is an expensive product here in mu Country. I have been dreaming to have clothes from organic cotton.
