The Deccan Chronicle and other newspapers in India have a heart warming story of the daughter of a young labourer who has gained entry to India's elite Administrative Service (IAS) after passing the exam.


Preethi Maithil and said her aim is 'to make agriculture a profit making proposition for farmers.'
