In 22nd May in Lima (Peru), San Marcos University with FINCYT and Organic Exchange auspices held a forum on biocides plants to pest control in cotton. This forum had the participation of Alfonso Lizarraga (Organic Exchange), he explained the organic cotton development in Peru and Latin America; José Iannacone (Villarreal University) commented the latest research on pest toxicity of these plants in various crops and Luis Gomero (RAAA) mentioned the expectations of the use of botanical insecticides development in organic agriculture in Peru.
